Five Tevas, Five Cities, One Tour

I teamed up with Teva to bring five styles from their new collection on the road with me to five stops on JoJo’s Mad Love Tour. These are the styles I chose, the cities I visited, and the highlights from each stop.
DETROIT, MICHIGAN
In Detroit we played at The Majestic Theatre which was directly attached to the Garden Bowl…inevitably, a bowling game ensued before soundcheck.

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA
Here we played at Stage AE–one of my favorite venues of the whole tour. The multi-level concert venue featured an upstairs lounge decorated to perfection. Concrete floors, exposed ceilings, leather furniture…this place was serious office goals.

BUFFALO, NEW YORK
Staying in shape while on the road is quite the challenge but we motivate each other and we encourage one another to find a gym or an activity to stay active and promote a healthy lifestyle. In Buffalo we found a gym to get a workout before the show followed by a hearty meal at a vegan restaurant that JoJo found using the Happy Cow App.

PORTLAND, MAINE
A couple of days in Portland, Maine afforded us the opportunity to go to dinner as a team and celebrate one of our crew member’s birthday. I had the best lobster I’ve ever had in my life at Boone’s Fish House & Oyster Room, so if you ever find yourself in Portland, Maine be sure to check it out.

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA
Going to Philadelphia always means family time. I grew up in South Jersey just a bridge away from Philly, so anytime a tour takes me to Philadelphia I make time to see my family. This week was my sister’s birthday so we gathered for a lovely birthday dinner celebration.

Right now we are in the middle of the Canadian leg of the Mad Love Tour which will be followed by seven more shows in the U.S. before we wrap up. By the time we are done with this tour, we will have traveled 25,000 miles which is the equivalent of going around planet Earth once. That just blows my mind. Falling in love with the open road is easy when each day is a new city with a story of adventure waiting to be told. I’m holding on to this feeling and never letting go.
