Running Heritage with Brooks Heritage

The footwear industry continues to increase year-by-year, especially athletic footwear, and that’s an indicator that we are expecting more functionality from our everyday shoes. We want all of the performance attributes in a shoe that is comfortable, lightweight and supports a full-contact lifestyle.

For over a decade, Brooks has revolutionized lightweight shoes built for speed. Embodying the technology that was king with runners in the ‘90s, the all-new Brooks Regent is loaded with classic innovation such as a diagonal roll bar and kinetic wedge.

These shoes aren’t just built for performance, they have a great aesthetic too; like pebbled leather details, nylon and pigskin suede and they are available in multiple color-ways.

Wearing sneakers with just about every outfit is more than a trend for me; it’s been my uniform for years. For as long as I remember, sneakers have played a big part in my wardrobe, and they weren’t always for athletic purposes.

While it’s obvious I wear sneakers to the gym, I’ve always had separate sneakers that are meant to be worn out. More often than not, when I’m wearing a suit, I replace my oxfords and monk straps with sneakers. I love adding a sporty element to everything I wear. It’s great to find all the qualities I look for in a sneaker in the new Brooks Regent.
