Exploring The Los Angeles Arts District

It’s been a while since I ventured out into Downtown Los Angeles, and much to my surprise, the Arts District has evolved so much since the last time I was there. Here’s some of what I discovered.

What I’m wearing: Lacoste coat, Levi’s vest, H&M shirt, Hugh & Crye tie, Eight Field of Freedom jeans, New Balance sneakers, Daniel Wellington watch, Ray-Ban sunglasses

Bulletproof Coffee

300 S Santa Fe Ave
Los Angeles, CA 90013

If you’re not familiar, Bulletproof is a brand that uses a blend of ancient knowledge and new science to create products that stimulate high performance allowing your body, mind, and nervous system to work together. In other words, if you’re a health-nut…this is your heaven.

Hauser Wirth & Schimmel

901 East 3rd Street
Los Angeles CA 90013

Hauser Wirth & Schimmel is an international gallery devoted to contemporary art and modern masters and they’ve opened a free gallery in the Arts District. The whole vibe here will make you feel like you’re in a different country. (PS: lots of photo ops.)

777 Alameda St
Los Angeles, CA 90021

This is the new center for creators, innovators and dreamers in Los Angeles. While some shops have already opened, the space is still under construction, but once completed it will house over 100 of the most progressive shops and restaurants from across LA and the world. It will unite the best in food, fashion, creativity and innovation.

907 E 3rd St
Los Angeles, CA 90013

Hauser Wirth & Schimmel also houses an incredible comfort food restaurant with a Parisian flair, called Manuela. The decor is beautiful and the food is incredible. I can’t wait to go back for brunch.

It’s exciting to have all of this change in my city and I can’t wait to discover more of it. If you’re in Los Angeles, go check these places out.
