Moods of Norway Celebrates 3 Years on Robertson Blvd.

Stopped by Moods of Norway on Robertson Blvd on Thursday for one of their infamous parties — this time celebrating the 3 Year Anniversary of their boutique on the popular Los Angeles shopping street. The party was completed with VikingFjord Vodka cocktails, Champagne by Nicolas Feuillatte, an awesome Border Grill food truck, an interactive photobooth and some cool tunes spun by celebrity DJ Becka Diamond. I have never seen so many dapper men donning awesome pocket squares under one roof.

NYLON Magazine x Tommy Girl Young Hollywood Party

After the Ted Baker Shop N’ Style event last night, my best friend and I headed straight to the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood for the annual NYLON Magazine & Tommy Girl Young Hollywood Party. We had a blast! My friend DJ Lindsay Luv was in charge of the tunes and some of the “young Hollywood” guests included Emma Roberts, Zelda Williams, Chord Overstreet, Robert Hoffman, Nikki Reed, Alyson Michalka, Pia Toscano, Rumer Willis, Romeo, James Maslow of Big Time Rush, amongst many others.

Unfortunately I didn’t feel like lugging my camera around so I left it in the car, but here’s a few flicks that I snapped with my iPhone and posted on my Instagram.

New Beauty at Fred Segal

New Beauty magazine hosted a party on Thursday to celebrate the launch of their revolutionary new store inside Fred Segal in Santa Monica. The night of beauty was filled with a cocktail bar hosted by Ciroc Vodka (amen!!), hors d’oeuvres, and heaps of beauty big-wigs likes celebrity makeup artist, Scott Barnes and celebrity hair colorist Jennifer J who were all on deck and ready to answer guest’s most pressing beauty questions.

It was one of those very interactive events you go to where you just want to try, taste and drink everything available. My two favorite activities were the DayNa Decker candle engraving station and the acupuncture bed. I had never done acupuncture before and was scared shit to try it out but I went for it and it actually felt very relaxing. The needles are literally hair-thin and don’t hurt at all. You can barely feel them.

Finally, what’s a party without a swag bag? The first 200 guests received a beauty swag bag valued at over $1,000, and the best part is that we were part of the first 200 guests. Hence, the beauty giveaway coming soon!

PS: I’m not an alcoholic, I just really like Ciroc.

G-Star RAWdeo Drive Opening

I attended the G-Star RAW store opening on Rodeo Drive last night and here’s what I saw.

First of all, how cool are their shopping bags? They make me want to buy something just to have the bag. I hope they always have them here, it makes it a bit of a novelty.

The location of this store is gold, right in the heart of Rodeo Drive, but the store itself…WOW it’s beyond. One of the first things you see when walking in are huge posters of the new face of the brand, Clémence Poésy — whom by the way, I think is a perfect fit for the brand. She embodies it effortlessly.

The crowd at the party was very G-Star, with heaps of edgy style. Loved seeing how each women style their dropcrotch/baggy jeans in their own personal way, while all wearing heels. Thank God! The racks and tables were filled with drool-worthy luscious leather jackets, distressed jeans, and utilitarian-style accessories.

It’s such a beautiful store. If you’re ever in Los Angeles, you have to come see for yourself.

I want everything.
