Coachella is right around the corner!
Thousands will flock to the deserts of Indio, California and brave the heat for the multi-day annual music and arts festival also known as Coachella, where the musical performances aren’t the only sights to behold. Every year hipsters and hippies serve a major dose of their eclectic style and to keep your finger on the fashion pulse, I’ve picked a few items to cater to the most prevalent trends at Coachella this year.
You can face the heat in a tunic and ripped shorts with a bandeau and cut off shorts, or you can embrace your inner hippy and opt for flowy, bohemian dresses paired with sandals or boots and a fringe bag.
All the rage at Coachella
Top Coachella Trends: Native American headdresses, rompers, ripped jeans, high waisted shorts, anything with fringes, bare midriffs, heavy prints, cool sunnies, and men in short shorts.
Whether you opt for classy, chic, or bizarre, one thing is for sure — anything goes at Coachella!

You Shouldn’t Have, But I’m So Glad You Did
Yesterday my dear friend Tashah (of cocoaluxe.com) stopped by to drop off a little gift for me. Of course, I immediately became giddy when I noticed the bag was labeled with an ESPIONAGE sticker — one of my new favorite boutiques in Los Angeles. I honestly expected a candle since I’m such a sucker for them and they have great ones there, but the truth is, guessing is out of the question when it comes to Tashah. This is the girl who has gifted me things from skull wall mosaics, to my favorite fashion books (Alexander McQueen, Tom Ford, and Mario Testino), to necklaces imported from Italy — the point is, I can’t ever guess any of her gifts.
Well inside the paper bag was a box neatly wrapped in gold paper and tied with a black ribbon and inside the beautiful package was this amazing velvet bow tie. I mean seriously!
Thank you Tashah! I’m in love.
