A light, fitted V-neck sweater in a high-quality fabric will look great in any color. You can dress it up with a suit and tie, or you can wear it casual with an open shirt and jeans — or if you’re like me — you can find a perfect balance of both dressy and casual by pairing it with a bow tie and rolled up colored trousers to show off your sockless commitment. For this kind of layering, aim for a fine-gauge sweater that lays easily over your shirt. You don’t want a thick sweater that will make you look bulky.

Start your engines Jason Wu fans, we are just 24 hours away from the launch of the designer’s collaboration with Target. I’m sure this will be another line-making, item-grabbing frenzy. Think Versace for H&M. So how can you score big? Here’s a few tips:
Be on time
According to Jason Wu’s publicists, the launch will kick off “early morning”, so set your alarm and head over to a Target store at least two hours before they open to secure a good spot in line. The farther out you go from common shopping areas in town, the more likely you are to find shorter lines and fewer crazed shoppers. Click Here to see all the Target stores carrying the collection to make sure your targeted location will carry it.
Shop Ahead
Know what you’re shopping for before you get there. See the entire Jason Wu for Target Collection and pre-select what you want, that way you can go for the kill once you’re inside the store. If you don’t immediately find your must-haves, look around the nearby aisles and the checkout lanes. People will toss or hide merchandise in the midst of the excitement. You can also check back a few days later; many shoppers end up returning things after the initial rush.
Shop Online
Of course you can avoid being in-line by going on-line and shopping there instead. The only problem with that is that you run the risk of the Target website crashing during the madness. It’s happened before.
Finally
There’s always eBay. Disclaimer: I am against buying items just to resell them. I don’t think it’s fair to the shoppers or supportive to the designer. However, there is an established aftermarket for designer collaboration pieces, but it should be a solid back-up plan for that gotta-have-it item. PS: you will pay a premium for that item.
