Dress: Donna Karan
Exquisite! This is one of the best red carpet moments Ashley Greene has had thus far in her career. Of course the custom Donna Karan gown is gorgeous, but it takes a certain kind of attitude to carry the dress and Ashley is serving every single ounce of it. Sure it feels a little like a wedding gown but only because of the color. Regardless, Best Dressed for sure.
Dress: Calvin Klein Collection
A leather gown? Yes please! I’ve always been a big fan of black and blue (together) and obviously I’m a big fan of leather, so this look is a winner in my eyes. Not quite “Best Dressed”, but winner nonetheless.
Dress: Tommy Hilfiger
Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Jewelry: Van Cleef and Arpels
Clutch: Judith Leiber
Pretty and safe. Very Kristen Bell. I feel like she never really wows me with her red carpet choices. This is the Met Gala for God sakes! Take a risk!
Dress: Prada
Clutch: Prada
Jewelry: Fred Leighton
The 38-year-old actress looks quite stunning (although a little mature) in this tangerine strapless peplum gown. The plexi and resin stone embroidered bustier looks a little like individually wrapped hard candy but it’s fun.
Dress: Carolina Herrera
Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Bag: Christian Louboutin
Jewelry: Jacob & Co.
I think Julianne did a great job with her rendition of a human Barbee. And no, that’s not a typo. Barbee is the cheap-dollar-store-not-quite-as-fabulous-as-Barbie doll. [Ryan’s voice] Dim the lights, here we go. Congratulations Julianne, you’ve earned a spot on the Worst Dressed list.
PS: Ok so I’m not going to lie, a small part of me likes to do these red carpet fashion reviews because I get to be a little mean and not get sh*t for it.
Dress: Givenchy
My favorite awkward girl pulled an Amy Winehouse on us and went back to black. But hey, I’m not mad at her, this black custom Givenchy is so red carpet worthy.
Dress: Calvin Klein Collection
Emily is a beautiful girl and I genuinely like her, but this dress feels like a hybrid of the Calvin Klein Collection dresses that Emma Stone wore to the 2011 Golden Globes and Jennifer Lawrence at the 2011 Academy Awards. I like the color but it washes her out and now that this minimalist look has been exhausted, there’s really nothing special about this dress. I’m also very distracted by the boob fat oozing out the sides.
