Stopped by Moods of Norway on Robertson Blvd on Thursday for one of their infamous parties — this time celebrating the 3 Year Anniversary of their boutique on the popular Los Angeles shopping street. The party was completed with VikingFjord Vodka cocktails, Champagne by Nicolas Feuillatte, an awesome Border Grill food truck, an interactive photobooth and some cool tunes spun by celebrity DJ Becka Diamond. I have never seen so many dapper men donning awesome pocket squares under one roof.
Spent my Sunday morning and early part of my afternoon in Pasadena shopping at the world famous Rose Bowl flea market with Micha, one of my closest friends and the amazing jewelry designer behind Micha Design.
This larger-than-life flea market happens only once a month (on the 2nd Sunday of every month) and with over 2,500 vendors I inevitably always find something to buy. In the past I’ve bought all sorts of things, from my living room coffee table, to my bedroom credenza, to the frame I used to build my Marc Jacobs dining table. It’s one of my favorite places to find vintage furniture, and although I wasn’t necessarily shopping for furniture, I was still a bit underwhelmed. Hardly anything caught my attention and I ended up with just two throw pillows. Boohoo!
HOWEVER, the mean chicken tikka masala and naan bread that I practically devoured on my way out made it ALL worth it. Indian food has become one of my favorites ever since my client JoJo turned me on to it last year.

Last night I attended the SWATCH exclusive Editor Preview which featured their finest watches in a Pop-Up Showroom setup. The presentation featured many of SWATCH’s signature collections including: Sports, Art & Fashion, New Gent Lacquered, and Swatch Touch. Krysten Ritter, Angela Simmons and Shannon Elizabeth were spotted.
Immediately following the preview, guests were escorted to the ART RULES NIGHT ceremony for the unveiling of the winning design of the Swatch Art Rules Design Competition.
After the Ted Baker Shop N’ Style event last night, my best friend and I headed straight to the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood for the annual NYLON Magazine & Tommy Girl Young Hollywood Party. We had a blast! My friend DJ Lindsay Luv was in charge of the tunes and some of the “young Hollywood” guests included Emma Roberts, Zelda Williams, Chord Overstreet, Robert Hoffman, Nikki Reed, Alyson Michalka, Pia Toscano, Rumer Willis, Romeo, James Maslow of Big Time Rush, amongst many others.
Unfortunately I didn’t feel like lugging my camera around so I left it in the car, but here’s a few flicks that I snapped with my iPhone and posted on my Instagram.
Yesterday Ted Baker held a shopping event hosted by fashion blogger, Sydne Summer, where guests enjoyed shopping the new summer collection while receiving style advice from Sydne — who’s outfit was literally a woman’s interpretation of what I was wearing. Even our jewelry matched! Which proves once again that great stylish minds think alike.
The evening festivities also included, champagne, music and candy — lots of candy — a colorful bar filled with candy to be exact.
This weekend my friends and I hit up the fashionable launch of the Eiman Hamza Collection at Fred Segal in Santa Monica. The afternoon of champagne was sweetened with mini cupcakes (I can’t ever have just one) and serenaded with live music by the band American Primitive — and of course great fashion. Duh!
Eiman Hamza is bringing a fresh new approach to womenswear with her signature collection. It offers comfortable silhouettes made of airy fabrics, bold but not obtrusive colors, and quirky-slash-preppy details like collars on dresses with pleated skirts, bows and lace headbands. The two main colors of the collection that stood out to me were tangerine and mint, which remind me of a delicious swirl of peach and pistachio sorbet. Who wouldn’t love it? Exactly!
The line also has a bit of a sporty kick, which is ideal for the active girl who likes to be stylish even if she’s breaking a sweat. All-in-all, a collection well conceptualized, designed, and executed. Kudos!

I am so extremely proud of my friend Tashah Johnson who just launched Candlessentials; a high-quality, handcrafted soy candle line made with environmentally friendly materials.
The launch party was held last Thursday at L.A.’s über-chic hot spot, The Churchill. The party was so much fun and it comes as no surprise that the collection was an instant hit with guests in attendance. I took tons of pictures but they all came out bad (insert sad face here), so I’ve decided not to post them because they will simply not do the party justice.
As for the scents, my two favorites are Limonatta ($23), which is a refreshing blend of lemon and ginger with a hint sweetness, and Sweet Earth, made of a light blend of brown sugar and fig with a touch of amber. Floral Fantasy, Pure & Simple, Heavenly Reverie, and Bold Awakening complete the 6-scent collection.
Another cool aspect of this candle line is that the box is plantable. That’s right! You can remove the label and plant your box to grow pretty flowers.
The entire candle collection is available for purchase at candlessentials.com.
