The Clubhouse Mansion Party

I’m back in desert for the second weekend of Coachella and, of course, its corresponding festivities. First stop was The Clubhouse Mansion Pool Party hosted by VICE, CAO and MFG at an estate right in the heart of the Palm Springs Valley. With DJ sets by Bag Raiders, Twin Shadow, Them Jeans, and Cosmic Kids the crowd was sure to dry their wet behinds with a dance or two.

WOMEN WHO ROCK POOL PARTY at HARD ROCK HOTEL

Hard Rock Hotels, BMF Media Group and Galore Magazine hosted the Women Who Rock Pool Party at the Hard Rock Music Lounge in Palm Springs during the weekend of Coachella for artists, celebrities, media, VIPs and tastemakers attending the music festival.

The exclusive three-day lounge, held at Hotel Zoso (future home of Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs), was hosted by Kelly Rowland and it took over the entire hotel, featuring live performances by Kilo Kish, Heloise & The Savoir Faire, Chanel West Coast, and my client, Epic Records/So So Def Recording Artist, Leah Labelle. My other client, JoJo, was also in attendance and was the DJ during Leah’s set. Jack of all trades anyone?

The brilliant Mr. Brainwash loitered the hotel building and lobby, stenciling up the place with the words “Love is the Answer” and “Music is Beautiful.” It was so sick to walk around the hotel and see his work everywhere. He also came and partied with us afterwards. Say what?!

The pool party also featured DJ sets by Tamara Sky, Venus X, Liza Thorn, K.I.D.S., and my friend DJ Lindsay Luv.

DETAILS AT MIDNIGHT

DETAILS Magazine and Hennessy VS kicked off the Coachella 2013 party scene on Friday with burgers, tacos, tunes by Zen Freeman and DJ Politik, a special performance by rapper Nas and plenty of free-flowing Hennessy.

The party was held at Coachella Valley in Bermuda Dunes, CA.

The expansive green lawn entrance was covered in dimly lit tepees where guests got to hang out in and dine on burgers from the Fatburger truck and tacos from the Border Grill truck. Hennessy flowed freely from the two party bars and at midnight Nas, a Hennessy ambassador, ruled the world.

Not a bad way to kick off the weekend festivities.

SURF BASH

Last week, Bloomingdale’s, Lighting Bolt, and Details hosted the second annual Surf Bash to benefit Surfer’s Healing — a foundation that seeks to enrich the lives of young people living with autism by exposing them to the unique experience of surfing.

Guests sipped on a cold one (or two, or three) while jamming to a live musical performance by The Tijuana Panthers and shopped the Surfer’s Healing collection.
