INSTARECAP
This week I partied with friends, worked out (in some cases twice a day), shared some healthy snack recipes, hung out with my friends/clients JoJo and Leah Labelle, and a week sans photographer meant getting acquainted with self-timer and wireless remote controls. That’s my Instagram week in review.

Out & About
JoJo Live at The Roxy
Tuesday night, following a set from Star Trak/So So Def recording artist Leah LaBelle, my client JoJo performed for a sold-out crowd at The Roxy in West Hollywood, bringing the house down with new songs like ‘Andre’ and ‘We Get By’, all-time favorites like ‘Too Little Too Late’ and ‘Leave (Get Out)’, and covers such as André 3000’s ‘Prototype,’ an acoustic take on a Joni Mitchell classic, and of course, Drake’s ‘Marvin’s Room’.
The energy at this (as in any JoJo concert) was nothing less than electrifying. Check out these videos, courtesy of RapUp.com, and see for yourself as JoJo gets The Roxy patrons to their feet with her insane vocal performances:

Expect JoJo to release her highly anticipated mixtape ‘Agape’ within the next couple of weeks.

10th November 2012

My Book Launch Party
Thursday night the BOA Art Gallery in Los Angeles was transformed into a menswear exhibit celebrating the launch of my new book Style Protocol: A Style Guide Engineered for Modern Men. I’ve spent the last year working on this book, and — for lack of a better metaphor — the evening felt a bit like giving birth. Minus the pain of course.
The anxiety of having to wait to share this “baby” with everyone is finally over and overwhelming in the best of ways. I couldn’t be happier.
Dreams do come true.
Fully stocked bar courtesy of VeeV Açai Spirit.
JoJo and IStyle Protocol gift bags.DJ Rogue
Acknowledgments
Thank you VeeV Açai Spirit for the amazing cocktails, SmartWater for keeping all my guests hydrated, Trina Turk for dressing all the ladies working my party, and Mr Turk for my tuxedo.
This party couldn’t have happened without the help of so many incredible people including: First Look PR, Elle Communications, Georgia Ganjeh, MyCloset Italia, G-Star, Emile Lafaurie for Sean Stores, Candlessentials, NoSubject LA, Mykull London, Blake Jacobsen, Micha Design, Hugh & Crye, BOA Art Gallery, Purveyor of Style, and Douglas Fir.
Buy the book
Style Protocol: A Style Guide Engineered for Modern Men will be out on Tuesday, November 13th. Visit www.styleprotocol.com to get yours!
