Confession Time
I never thought I’d say this (eek! confession time) guys…I wore sweats in public today! And I don’t mean the gym-public, I mean Pinkberry-public. I know right! I’m the person that dresses up even if I’m going to the grocery store, and here I am trying to pull off what can be considered one of fashion’s biggest faux pas.
To prove I’m not ashamed of it, I tweeted a picture of my outfit with a caption that read:
“Swagging it in sweats and boots for a Pinkberry run with Tashah”
Here’s the thing. I still think sweats are and have been the source of lazy Americans at the airport for years, and that needs to stop. However, I can’t knock a well put together outfit—even if its with sweats. It’s all in the styling and here are a few photos that could help raise your game when it comes to soft wear. Don’t get carried away now!

On my last day of Fashion Week, as I was walking out of the Levi’s show I was stopped by a photographer who wanted to take my photo. He claimed to want me on the Street Style section of GQ.com. Like any other day, I didn’t think twice and posed for the photo. After all, whether or not the photo gets published, it’s an extraordinary compliment to get photographed for your style.
Today I woke up to a tweet from one of my followers congratulating me for my feature on GQ.com. I couldn’t believe it. I’m ecstatic! Thank you so much to photographer Ben Ferrari for noticing me. This made my day — hell, it made my week!
