Red Carpet Review Emma Stone at 2012 Oscars Dress: Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Shoes: Brian Atwood Bag: Louis Vuitton Jewelry: Louis Vuitton If you’ve been following my Red Carpet Fashion Reviews, you’d know how much I love Emma Stone, she’s quickly became my red carpet heroine, but I’m a little puzzled by her choice of dress today. Did she not watch the 2007 Oscars? This dress is almost an identical replica of the dress Nicole Kidman wore on the carpet in 2007. I mean even the bow is on the same side of the neck. Emma did look gorgeous tonight though. I can’t take that away from her.

If you’ve been following my Red Carpet Fashion Reviews, you’d know how much I love Emma Stone, she’s quickly became my red carpet heroine, but I’m a little puzzled by her choice of dress today. Did she not watch the 2007 Oscars? This dress is almost an identical replica of the dress Nicole Kidman wore on the carpet in 2007. I mean even the bow is on the same side of the neck. I am at the utmost level of disappointment with this gown. The 23-year-old actress added chose a dress better suited for someone in their 30’s. How did she go from that amazing peach Calvin Klein Collection dress she wore last year, to this? I don’t get it. In my opinion, the only “ok” part of this dress is the embroidered shoulders.

The 23-year-old actress added chose a dress better suited for someone in their 30’s. How did she go from that amazing peach Calvin Klein Collection dress she wore last year, to this? I don’t get it. Emma Stone at 2012 People’s Choice Awards Tuxedo: Gucci Jewelry: Tiffany & Co. I love-love-love a red head in green! Ok, now that that’s established, I have to say that I’m under-impressed by Emma’s choice. Its almost like walking across a desert and only getting a half-cup of water. She’s has undoubtedly become one of my favorite red carpet gals, but this look felt casual, rushed and unplanned. Even her hair. I love the outfit itself but not for the occasion. It would’ve been better suited for a talk show. Needless to say, I am very happy she was a two-time winner tonight. I’m a fan.
