2012 NewNowNext Awards

The 2012 NewNowNext Awards were a blast and Kelly Osbourne did a fantastic job hosting the ceremony. Of course it wouldn’t be a Logo award show without some major drag queen appearances from everyone’s favorite past and present contestants of RuPaul’s Drag Race, so check out all the action from the red carpet, the award ceremony and the after party.

My All-Access Pass at Logo’s NewNowNext Awards.

My favorite purple-headed Kelly Osbourne chatting it up with Lala Vasquez.

Wait hot a damn minute. It’s the man of the hour Josh Hutcherson of The Hunger Games!

One of tonight’s performers Adam Lambert who lost some weight and looks quite handsome.

Shirtless Perez Hilton. Check out those abs. I’m proud of your commitment my friend.

Coachella is right around the corner!
Thousands will flock to the deserts of Indio, California and brave the heat for the multi-day annual music and arts festival also known as Coachella, where the musical performances aren’t the only sights to behold. Every year hipsters and hippies serve a major dose of their eclectic style and to keep your finger on the fashion pulse, I’ve picked a few items to cater to the most prevalent trends at Coachella this year.
You can face the heat in a tunic and ripped shorts with a bandeau and cut off shorts, or you can embrace your inner hippy and opt for flowy, bohemian dresses paired with sandals or boots and a fringe bag.

Top Coachella Trends: Native American headdresses, rompers, ripped jeans, high waisted shorts, anything with fringes, bare midriffs, heavy prints, cool sunnies, and men in short shorts.
Whether you opt for classy, chic, or bizarre, one thing is for sure — anything goes at Coachella!

Correspondence from TOM FORD

Yesterday I received a nice little surprise in the mail: an invite from the TOM FORD boutique in Beverly Hills that read:

“The ultimate in service and luxury, come experience the new Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2012 Menswear Collection.”

I’m sure this invite went out to multiple people, but it made me feel special nonetheless. Ford epitomizes luxury, and he makes sure thats reflected in everything he puts his name on. The invite was an image of one of his S/S ads printed on super high-gloss, extra thick card-stock with a gold edge around it and gold foil embossed lettering.

très chic

PS: The answer is yes, I will be stopping by to experience the new collection. I’ll let you know how that goes.

This Baby Is In Full Bloom
An explosion of cascading and swirling petals made of organza and feathers is exactly what the Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 collection served us. The women were transformed into walking flowers with layer upon layer of tulle. Yes, please.
Sure flowers are more of a spring thing, but can you imagine these gowns in your fall wardrobe? Ha! Major! Of course, if you’re Anna Dello Russo this would totally be feasible.
Designer Sarah Burton described the collection as “A kind of soft futurism. Not cold and structured, but optimistic and forward-looking.”
Forward indeed.
