Cupcakes and Cashmere Signing
Last week, the creator of popular lifestyle blog “Cupcakes and Cashmere”, Emily Schuman, made a stop at Bloomingdale’s Century City as part of her promotional book tour. I met Emily during New York Fashion Week last season at the Independent Fashion Blogger’s Conference and automatically felt a connection. She’s one of the sweetest people ever! I wasn’t familiar with her blog before the conference but now I’ve become a fan and when I heard she was doing a book signing in Los Angeles, I immediately felt the obligation to go and support a fellow blogger.
PS: This obligatory feeling may or may not have to do with the fact that I have my own book coming out next month and expect the support of the blogging community. *wink*
Guests of the event got to “turned their beauty on” by trying Emily Schuman’s top Estee Lauder products and receiving a copy of the Cupcakes and Cashmere book for her to sign with every $40 Estee Lauder purchase.
